Frequencies

Frequency designators for the Mission Support Network.

In Accordance With (IAW) AF MARS regulations and Communications Security (COMSEC), MARS Frequencies are considered, "For Official Use Only" (FOUO) and shall not be published on web sites. Therefore, only the frequency designators are displayed.

All MSN frequencies are Upper Sideband and the "Dial" frequency is -1.5 KHz offset from the NTIA "Assigned" frequency.

MSBTertiary Calling frequency used at night when the Primary and Secondary calling frequencies are unusable due to propagation *

MSE Secondary Calling frequency used at night and during the day if the Primary calling frequency is unusable due to propagation *

MSG Admin Net Alternate Frequency.
MSHAdmin Net Primary Frequency - Saturday morning. See the Nets page for times.
MSI Primary Calling frequency used during the day and other times depending on propagation *
MSJ

Word of Caution: Several of the MSN frequencies are very close to other MARS and various radio services frequencies. Be sure to only operate on the MSN "Dial" frequency.

* The "Calling frequency" designators and suggested times are listed on the Operations page. Be aware, these could change to the Primary, Secondary or Tertiary calling frequencies at any time depending on propagation and at the discretion of the Net Control Station. Please refer to #3 on the "Procedures" page.
